Culture is not Social Knowledge but Manipulated Tradition

Recently, it is in vogue to focus Multi-agent Systems Research into Culture-based Social Systems advocating that Culture are the somewhat primitive, source common knowledge and expression manifestation of a Society.

 

 

I have to deeply oppose to that statement because the subtle difference between Social Truth, i.e. Public Opinion, and Culture is about Freedom, Repression and Manipulation.

 

Some Spanish Politicians state that Bullfighting must not be banned because it is Culture. But Culture is not FREE from REPRESSION and MANIPULATION, as our Society.

 

 

I am going to show the difference between Mainstream Culture and Underground Culture in Music, i.e. the REAL Social Truth of a part of the World Population.

 

 

We all almost agree we are in a Mainstream Pop Culture where the Media manipulated by the Consumist States flood us with messages to make us feel “Happy to being able to purchase that music and other luxury and superfluous items: IMAGE DOES MATTER”; also “Beloved, seeking or playing The Game of Love: WE MUST SEEK SEXUAL REPRODUCTION”; also “Identified with a/some Musical Idol(s) that we MUST adore and follow: POWER DIFFERENCE IS ESSENTIAL”.

 

 

But I am part of that UNKNOWN part of SOCIAL TRUTH, the UNDERGROUND Culture, e.g. Metal music is not a trend, it is a way of life. Without entering in details advocating my PERSONAL preferences on Music or Ways of Life, I feel in the position to reveal some insights and common patterns in Underground Culture, i.e. People’s Culture to be diferentiated from System’s Culture.

2. Lyrics and final messages DO NOT TEND to be POLITICAL, MORAL, or LINGUISTICALLY CORRECT.

 

 

3. Lyrics and final messages TEND to REFLECT the REAL PROBLEMS of People: Hunger, War, Illness, Death, State Repression, Society or to BE a WARCRY against their REAL PROBLEMS: Politicians, Church, Marginalisers, etc.

 

 

4. They are IGNORED and HIDE from the REST of Society by the STATES because they are AFRAID from the POWER of MUSIC in its FREE FORM because it MIGHT awake “The Dormant BEAST” that ARE we ALL if we focus to REGAIN our LOST POWER (“Paradise”) from the MINORITY currently SOCIALLY ACCEPTED, RICH and POWERFUL.
